alkasir for Mapping and Circumventing Cyber-Censorship

Build 456 has just been released today and if you had 455 then the new update should be updated automatically. If you face any difficulty, we recommend you uninstall and then install the latest version from the downloads page.

The new build fixes a major issue with the connection timeout, which could affect slow connections. Please report to us any problems you face with this build along with any questions you may have.

Edit (June 29): Just to mention that the latest build available is 455. Our apologies for the release of successive builds due to urgently needed hotfixes. The latest build is always updated at the Downloads Page and should automatically replace older builds if you have 'auto-updates' on.

The number of downloads from alkasir.com has risen abruptly in the last couple of weeks indicating that many have been able to download and use alkasir and we're glad that many of them took the time to send us feedback about performance issues and bugs.

To all users still using alkasir v1.01, you must update your version to alkasir 1.2.0 by uninstalling version 1.01 and then downloading the latest build of the new version from https://alkasir.com/downloads.

alkasir v1.01 will be out of operation and will not work by June 25, 2010.
